ArtPlay Holiday Art Workshops for Children

From April 10-20, give your children a creative break from school with New England Regional Art Museum's popular school holiday art workshops led by local artists.

Funky Junk Sculture - Tuesday April 10 and April 17. 10am-12noon. All ages ($15 pp)

Work with cardboard rolls, pipe cleaners, straws, icecream sticks, paper plates and old bottles. Join any sort of 'junk' and paint to make a funky scultpure.

Stencil Art on Wednesday April 11 and April 18. 10am-12 noon. 8years and over ($15pp)

Learn to make and print stencils. Graffiti is quickly entering the fine art world, and stenciling is the way to do it; it's easy, fun and looks awesome. Bring a simple idea along.

Colourful Clay Cup with Lorenne Michel on Thursday April 12 and April 18. 10am -12 noon & 1pm to 3pm. All ages ($20pp)

Learn how to make a pottery cup and decorate with patterns and glazes. Children under 5 to be accompanied by an adult. Two firings and all materials are included in the cost.

Felt Tip Theatre Co. Workshop on Friday April 13th. 10am-4pm. Ages 8 and up. ($50 full day)

Skill and confidence building drama games and performances. Bring lunch. Loads of fun! Minimun number to run is 8, maximum 16. Will also run April 20 if waiting list fills.
